The Oceanside Media Club of Vancouver Island consists of people currently active in the media as well as retirees from various media outlets (broadcast and print) from across the country.

The club is strictly social in nature - no membership fees, no formal meetings, no minutes kept and no identifiable cause to support. The intention is to hold monthly social events for the sake of getting together over good food and drink to connect (or re-connect) with others of similar backgrounds or work experiences in order to tell lies, exchange stories, and discuss the various medications we're taking!

Membership is informal and open to media professionals of every ilk, as well as those of no ilk at all.
